If you didn’t have the opportunity to attend “The Big Give” in 2016, you missed an amazing event. Don’t lose out this year! The Big Give is back again for 2017 on Monday, January 30, from 11:30 to 1:00. The event is based on an idea from Adam Grant, rising star author and professor from Wharton, who says that those who “give” in the workplace are far more likely to succeed. The Big Give gives you the opportunity to give - a 60 second piece of advice, a tip or tool, or a recommended reading or app to your fellow ATD Sacramento training professionals.

What a great way to start 2017! Oh, and BTW, this is the annual pizza day, the lowest price of the year for a monthly event and the opportunity to give, get, and enjoy the company of 75 other training professionals who also care about giving! Avid readers horde books like a squirrel hordes nuts, but even the most relentless bibliophile can run out of space. In the spirit of giving, we will also be hosting a Book Swap!

Plan to bring a training or development book (or books) you would like to pass on to another talent development professional, then take home an equal number of books for yourself. An excellent way to start out your new year, by sharing knowledge!

Note: Due to ongoing member requests, we will provide Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten-Free lunch options. Please remember to indicate your dietary preferences or restrictions as you register for the program.
