Over the last 10 years, the coaching profession has grown considerably in North America. Forward thinking organizations today hire external coaches, use trained internal coaches and expect managers to take a “coach approach” with their teams and employees as a way of building individual and team effectiveness. There is also an ever-growing abundance of coach training programs. And, coaching supervision, a requirement for many external coaches in the U.K. is ever-so-slowly gaining some momentum in North America.

So, what is coaching today? And what is new and emerging within in the profession?

Barrett McBride, PhD, MCC, has been coaching professionally for 20 years. For more than 15 years she has been CEO of Barrett McBride & Associates, a leadership & executive coaching and management consulting firm.

The focus of Barrett’s coaching practice is leadership development of senior leaders and leadership teams, organizational development, change management, basic & advanced coach training & development, mediation & conflict management, coaching supervision, developing organizational coaching programs and matchmaking organizations with coaches.

Barrett’s coaching clients include senior leaders in a variety of organizations, including law firms, health care organizations, higher education and technology.

Payment Policy: All payments must be received in full prior to attending an event or workshop.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: 
Cancellations made more than five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made three (3) to five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than three (3) calendar days prior to the event and no-shows will not be refunded or credited. Any unpaid balance due will remain according to the above guidelines. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
