Work teams can move productively through conflict by developing a “both/and” outlook that promotes interdependence and mutual success. As trainers and HR professionals, we’re poised to help supervisors learn how to lead their teams past an “us/them” mentality and work together to achieve results.

ATD Sacramento’s second event of the year adds Polarity Thinking to your learning and development toolbox, with speaker Jason Roberts from Unleashing Leaders. Help leaders leverage interdependence to keep conflict in check and support teams and results moving forward.

In this session, you will:

  • Understand the critical competency of interdependence, and how leaders and organizations that utilize this mindset achieve more than those that don't
  • Apply a both/and mindset to individual leadership competencies
  • Begin to see organization and systems thinking through an interdependent lens

Jason Roberts is passionate about helping leaders, teams, and organizations accelerate the changes they seek. His skills include facilitating strategic planning and implementation, business process improvement, agile project management, and leadership and teambuilding.

He has also managed the change management, process improvement, training, and implementation of bill analysis tracking software for the California Department of Public Health, engaging 11 Divisions and over 20 programs using Agile.
