The CLG team includes Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses - Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk.
This position is part of the Home Equity team and reports up through the WF Home Lending channel. The focus of the role is to help guide our sales individuals to better understand and sell Home Equity in all of our sales models.
Responsibilities:
COLLABORATE with business partners to develop a learning strategy, creating the execution plan and developing the training, and analyzing the results of the training to ensure success.
DEVLOPMENT: This senior level consultant will be responsible for developing and executing coaching and/or product training for sales within a complex/diverse major product line. Develop an overall high level and detailed strategy for the LOB to meet business, learning, and timeline objectives. Develops new or re-designs existing coaching protocols and/or training courses or programs incorporating a variety of unique and specialized learnings that improve specific areas of team member performance and effectiveness. Manage HE content on current Web Pages/Sales Portals. Manage and execute the design, development and assessment of learning initiatives that improve team member performance to achieve business objectives or knowledge of learning through interaction and attention grabbing visual effects to advance the deep knowledge of the learner. Be naturally creative to proactively recommend, create and develop performance and competency-based learning and performance support solutions via a variety of technical and functional design (some of which are: video, self-study, virtual, interactive simulation, computer based) exercising independent judgment.
PARTNERSHIP: Plays a key role in partnership development/management by proactively consulting with leadership to identify needs, set objectives and develop and execute on unique sales strategies/tactics for specific LOB needs. Provide tools and resources to sales force to increase the sale of the HE product. Collaborate with management in the communication and implementation of business/sales initiatives. Potential management of 3rd party vendor relationships. Evaluate: Evaluates the effectiveness of sales coaching and/or training courses or programs and provides feedback and recommendations to senior management. Utilizes evaluation criteria to analyze performance trends, identifies developmental needs and provides coaching techniques and recommendations to improve sales performance. Analyzes market information and determines which products and services should be targeted for individual locations or sales representatives.
EVALUATES the effectiveness of sales coaching and/or training courses or programs and provides feedback and recommendations to senior management. Utilizes evaluation criteria to analyze performance trends, identifies developmental needs and provides coaching techniques and recommendations to improve sales performance. Analyzes market information and determines which products and services should be targeted for individual locations or sales representatives.
Additional duties: Utilize new industry changing software and technology as it becomes available to Wells Fargo to enhance current learning programs. Act as a product knowledge and sales process expert for sales force and company management. Participate in projects/meetings/presentations as a product specialist. Incumbents are/will be subject matter experts on the business product line and relationship to other Wells Fargo products and services and may contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Up to 25% travel to distribution channel/partner end users to obtain feedback.

This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results.
