Position Information

This is a full time career position with UC Davis Health System, Clinical and Translational Science Center, located in Sacramento.  Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.  This classification is not represented by a union.

Requirements

Required:
--5 years experience in a clinical research position.
--Experience conceptualizing, developing, writing, editing, proofreading, and implementing print, course materials, training programs, and various other documents in multiple formats for target audience.
--Experience conducting training, organizing and presenting large and small training seminars, conferences, presentations, and workshops to adult learners, including all required logistical details.
--Knowledge and experience interpreting federal regulations, state statutes and institutional practices regarding research involving human subjects.
--Verbal, written and interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to present complex technical and legal materials in a clear, concise and professional manner.
--Analytical skills to identify and implement specific project and process improvement strategies.
--Experience working with relational databases for information organization, exchange, storage, and retrieval of human subjects records.
--Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, GCP guidelines, HIPAA, institutional policies, and SOPs for conduct of human subjects research in an academic environment.
--Proficient with medical terminology at college level with the ability to understand disease processes, anatomy, and physiology necessary for comprehension of study protocols and for communicating with investigators in various departments/divisions throughout the UCDHS/SOM systems.

Preferred:
--Bachelor's degree in health education, public health, or business.
--Experience as a clinical research coordinator.
--Knowledge and experience working with Epic EMR and IRBNet.
--Experience in the UC Davis clinical research environment.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Trials Education Analyst is responsible for Education and Training program development and oversight, setting and meeting milestones and deliverables, and providing creative solutions to fulfill programmatic needs. Specific duties include educational needs assessment, gap analysis, generation of training presentations, project management, data mining and analysis, creation of technical and marketing materials and website administration. This position will work on problems of diverse scope and complexity including curricula development, selection of training methodologies, and program and participant evaluations.

Special Requirements

--Must be able to work flexible scheduled.
--Must be able to travel off-site and travel nationally for up to a week at a time.
