As a corporate trainer with Summit Funding, your primary responsibility is to engage, educate and empower employees to reach optimal performance on their jobs. The Corporate Trainer will support the Corporate Training Manager in the development, organization and presentation of training materials and courses to ensure company training requirements are met for employees at all levels.
As a corporate trainer at Summit Funding, you are expected to learn and understand mortgage banking operations, programs, products and procedures. You must have, or learn, enough comprehensive detail to teach effectively.
You are required to work with Subject Matter Experts on curriculum development and project deliverables. Consequently, you must be able to manage your time effectively and sometimes manage multiple projects. You are required to set and meet deadline expectations by working with the parties involved.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, curriculum design, facilitation of materials via online, instructor-led, e-learning, or mobile learning (m-learning) modalities. Content production and delivery may include on-boarding for branch offices, mortgage lending operations, sales, management and leadership, career path development and other content as needed.

Compensation for this position will depend on experience. Summit Funding offers a complete compensation package including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off, Flex Spending, Etc.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties of the Position:
Create and deliver onsite and online learning.
Create job aids, user guides and tutorials to assist employee job functions.
Keep training materials updated.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, managers and fellow trainers on key deliverables
Maintain training Intranet folders.
Maintain regular schedule of Branch visits.
Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field of study
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a corporate trainer
Experience working with an LMS platform
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications
An understanding of authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and Photoshop
Excellent communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of instructional theories and principles
Self-motivated, dependable and needing minimal supervision
Project management abilities
Detail oriented
Ability to Collaborate with all levels of employees and management
Team player
Ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated time-management abilities
Ability to travel for overnight stays when necessary
May include working from home.
