Designing Powerful Online Meeting Experiences

April 8, 2020 • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

How do L&D and OD professionals meaningfully engage stakeholders through online video conferences? During this COVID-19 crisis, most of us have no other option for engaging key stakeholders. In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to design meaningful online experiences, utilize the medium appropriately, and create interactive online experiences.

After the session, participants will:

  • Understand the fundamentals of online meeting design and facilitation
  • Design the critical elements of an online meeting
  • Identify the appropriate technological tools to use in a given meeting
  • Identify compelling interactive visuals to engage participants

Technology Requirements:
We will use Zoom, Google Slides, and Mural and will send login instructions in advance.  Free versions of these tools are available for our session.  The session is applicable even if you use other online communication tools such as WebEx, GoToMeeting, Skype, or Microsoft Teams.

Because of the interactive nature of the session, we ask that you be able to engage for the full ninety minutes, using both audio and video.

Important Registration Information:
To ensure an interactive experience, we have limited registration to 25 people. Please only register if you definitely intend to participate, and please cancel if your situation changes so we can open your spot to others.
