Are you an experienced trainer looking for new techniques, ideas, and activities? Want feedback in a safe, supportive environment? Trainer As Facilitator of Learning is a hands-on opportunity to practice facilitation methods. This class is intended for experienced trainers who hope to improve their virtual and classroom-based skills.

Learning Objectives:

  • Demonstrate methods to effectively facilitate learning.
  • Identify 5 ways to engage learners quickly and easily.
  • Use a 4-part debrief format to encourage discussion.
  • Practice phrases to use while facilitating learning.
  • Apply methods to minimize challenging behaviors.

Audience:
Experienced trainers who hope to improve their virtual and classroom-based skills.


Technology Requirements:

This session will be conducted through Zoom. Log-in instructions will be sent upon registration. 

About the Speaker:

Katrina Kennedy is known to the training community as “the trainer’s trainer” and specializes in helping trainers design and deliver learning events that transfer to improved job performance. She has provided training, coaching, and keynotes to organizations since 1997. 

Katrina has a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Development from Chapman University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of California at Riverside. Visit katrinakennedy.com for more about Katrina.

 


Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations made more than five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made three (3) to five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than three (3) calendar days prior to the event and no-shows will not be refunded or credited. Any unpaid balance due will remain according to the above guidelines. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
