This presentation explores the journey into the learning and development (L&D) field, highlighting the personal experiences and key moments that sparked a passion for fostering growth in others. It emphasizes the importance of continuous learning, community support, and creativity in L&D, along with the tools and resources that inspire professional development. The session also addresses the impact of L&D in today's challenging world and encourages audience participation through reflection and sharing personal stories.

Learning Objectives:

About the Speaker:

Amanda Facio

With over 12 years in Learning and Development and Change Management, I currently lead the Enterprise Development team, focusing on creating strategic programs that enhance talent growth and retention. My background in marketing, operations, and project management allows me to take a holistic approach to program development, implementation, and continuous improvement. Some of the highlights from my career include, integration of a Global Learning Management System, revamping new hire orientations, and building an L&D department from scratch.

Additionally, I specialize in personal branding and communication, helping individuals articulate their unique value and navigate their careers confidently. I am passionate about fostering growth and resilience in others, believing that our contributions in the L&D field can create lasting positive change. Ultimately, I strive to cultivate an environment where continuous learning thrives and everyone can reach their full potential.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellations made more than five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made three (3) to five (5) calendar days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than three (3) calendar days prior to the event and no-shows will not be refunded or credited. Any unpaid balance due will remain according to the above guidelines. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
