President - Amanda Facio

Amanda is the Leader of Enterprise Development at Golden 1 Credit Union, bringing over a decade of expertise in Learning & Development, change management, and corporate communications. 

Amanda joined ATD because she believes fostering personal growth and resilience is the foundation of lasting positive change, both for individuals and the broader business landscape.

As President, Amanda leverages her unique blend of strategic vision and operational expertise to guide the board's direction, ensuring our initiatives consistently empower members to reach their full potential.

Director of Membership - Amanda Parks

Amanda is a fractional consultant with over a decade of experience in change management, training program design, and event planning. Through her organization, Park Place Learning, Amanda partners with companies to ensure their people are prepared, supported, and ready to execute on day 1 of any major transformation.

Driven by a desire to support her local L&D community, Amanda joined ATD Sacramento from the Golden Gate Chapter. In her role as Director of Membership, she focuses on growing chapter membership, serving members needs, and planning the chapter's annual conference.

When she isn't helping organizations get their teams across the finish line, Amanda can be found at her sewing machine or walking the dog.

Co-Director of Programs- Rebecca Alimorong

Rebecca is a Senior HR, Learning, and Workforce Transformation Leader bringing over 20 years of experience to ATD Sacramento. Having led enterprise initiatives across the technology, healthcare, and legal sectors, she specializes in aligning talent strategy, AI readiness, and leadership development with evolving business needs.

Joining the chapter from the Bay Area, Rebecca is deeply passionate about making AI practical, accessible, and human-centered. She believes the future of Learning and Development extends far beyond traditional training, focusing instead on building adaptable workforces where people and technology thrive together.

As Co-Director of Programs, Rebecca leverages her vast expertise in organizational transformation to design innovative, forward-looking learning experiences and events that equip our chapter members for the future of work.

When she isn't partnering with executive teams to scale talent strategies, Rebecca enjoys mentoring emerging professionals. She is also a sought-after voice on shaping the modern workplace, frequently facilitating and speaking at major industry forums including LinkedIn, SHRM, the Learning Guild, and the Adobe Learning Summit.

Co-Director of Programs - Kim Johns

Kim Johns is a Senior Learning and Development Leader at Golden 1 Credit Union, with more than a decade of experience designing learning experiences, leading complex programs, and driving strategic initiatives in dynamic enterprise environments. Her expertise spans instructional design, eLearning development, learning technology, program management, and cross-functional collaboration. Known for bringing structure to complexity and turning ideas into meaningful learning experiences, Kim partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop programs that support organizational goals and employee growth.

As Co-Director of Programs for ATD Sacramento, Kim brings the same strategic, collaborative approach to the chapter community, designing and delivering engaging, high-value programming that connects learning and development professionals, fosters idea exchange, and supports continued growth in the field.

Director of Marketing & Communications - Mickaela Colvin

Mickaela Colvin is an experienced Instructional Designer with over 15 years of expertise in crafting engaging and effective learning experiences. Throughout her career, she has built a proven track record in collaborative design, consistently incorporating the latest methodologies and learning technologies to drive organizational success.

Deeply committed to continuous improvement and adaptability, Mickaela brings her passion for innovative solutions to the ATD Sacramento board. She joined the chapter's leadership to champion the region's talent development community and help fellow professionals thrive. In her role as Director of Marketing & Communications, she leverages her keen eye for design and audience engagement to elevate the chapter’s messaging, promote impactful events, and keep the local learning community connected.

Outside of work, Mickaela enjoys crafting, gardening, canning, baking, and—most often—cheering on her son’s hobbies and sports.
