UC Davis Extension is the continuing and professional education division of UC Davis. In this capacity, UC Davis Extension partners with campus schools, colleges and faculty to create global access to the distinctive knowledge and resources of UC Davis. UC Davis Extension instructors include outstanding faculty from every school and college as well as distinctive working professionals in a wide variety of disciplines. Last year, UC Davis Extension recorded more than 62,000 enrollments in 1,400 unique classes, serving students from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. Courses are offered onsite and online in a variety of formats, including short courses, conferences, certificate programs and self-supporting master's degrees. Courses are open to the public and offered on a contract basis through partnerships with private companies, government agencies and international peer universities. UC Davis Extension is completely self-supporting, generating more than $40 million in annual revenue from course fees, public and private contracts and grants. Job Summary:
Under the direction of instructional designers and project managers, works with faculty and instructors to create new courses for online delivery and to define and implement appropriate instructional strategies to redesign existing coursework for distributed delivery via the web, with no loss of integrity or effectiveness. Specifically, works with Instructional Designer to determine educational objectives, learning outcomes, audience assessment, ensure copyright procedures are followed, assist in determining course format, content capture methodology, media elements to be included in course, interactivity elements, assessment techniques, and overall course design for higher education, professional and continuing education audiences.

The Enterprise Records and Information Management (ERIM) organization is a newly created
organization that will transform PG&E’s records and information assets management practices to

The Training Specialist is a key partner in the delivery of training programs for AmeriCorps National Civilian Community (NCCC) Corps Members.Each campus enrolls approximately 100 new Corps Members every six months.Primary responsibilities will include:
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience (paid, unpaid, or volunteer work) comparable in scope and responsibility to at least the upper range of the NY-01 level or equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience must include all of the following: 1) work experience requiring tracking and reporting on large amounts of automated data; 2) experience independently presenting training or orientation sessions; 3) work experience coordinating the logistical requirements for training programs, conferences, large scale meetings or other large scale events; and 4) experience working with audio- visual equipment to include downloading videos, producing sound effects, etc.

EDUCATION:
If you are qualifying based on education alone, you must have one full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement as defined by being in the upper third of your graduating class; or possessing a 3.0 GPA or higher over four years of education; or possessing a 3.5 GPA or higher during final 2 years of education. Such education must be from an accredited institution and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work. You must submit an unofficial copy of your college transcript. You must submit evidence that any education completed in a foreign institution is equivalent to U.S. educational standards.
You may also qualify based on a combination of education and experience, if applicable.
